April - Spring
is here.... Tractor, yes the first bit of heavy machinery with some accessories below. A John Deere 3050 what a piece of kit no messing. Now registered and insured for the road. |

Tractor accessories, grass cutter second hand, and back bucket. The
three large blade cutter enables cutting of grass in the three main
fields, each takes about an hour and a half, but I am sure I will
improve the time. The bucket, new this will move rocks soil and timber, looking out for a trailer to complete the the set at present. |

Chickens, 6 (3 black and 3
brown) now laying at about 3 a day after settling in we should be at
about 6 a day. The guttering now goes to a 300 Litre water but which is
now full. |

Vegetable / Fruit patch coming on most of the seeds now in, the rest in pots to plant out later. Now with 3 x 300 Litre water buts full. |

Older fruit trees now full of
blossom, Apple and Cherry. So should be a very good year, but we will
wait and see, cutting the ivy off and removing the old wood seems to
have made all the difference. |

All the ground now clear of
bramble roots, after 3 goes with pick and rotovator, but I bet some will
come up. Now area seeded with grass, so watch this space. |

Great now to see all the trees
coming out in the new green leaves. Also added main spuds now in and coming up with sweet corn and courgettes. |

On the left. Arched pathway to vegetable patch which will be planted
with sweet peas made with hazel cut in the winter. Compost heap bins made also with hazel. Which also includes this end an addition to the Vegetable patch of Peas. |
