April - Weather sunny warm
and much longer days. The hall way pointing is now finished. Also outside the corner of the workshop has be taken down and rebuilt, as it had some very large ivy roots which had to come out. Inside the kitchen dining room we the started the walls for the utility room and WC which will also support the floor for the minstrel gallery. With the help of the stone mason, Brian Evans and his helper Ludo... Manoir Renovations L'Esthuer, 22600 Saint Barnabé, Loudéac Tel: 02 96 26 70 21 / 06 78 26 63 96 www.manoirrenovations.com |

Back out side to mix concrete which has to go in all the areas that will have to support things such as, the fire places, steps and stairs. This has be done so the areas have a firm base, all other areas will have insulation and under floor heating put in, hope fully next month. The outside slab is for the Air to Water heat pump and the pipes are to connect it. There she is again, must be more than one Gerry here...! |

Now the floor is in it gives some great views of the main hall. All
insulated so the rooms below keep the heat in, all this will also have
the Air to Water heating system so the main hall will also be warm. We
should have a 5:1 ratio on using this so for every 1 KW we put in we
will have 5 KW output.
Look at what we have included so far. The Green pages, where we will update as we include the best possible solutions to alternative energy and environment savings. Just click on the link above. |
